Marshall Aerospace is pleased to welcome Rick Renard as Business Development and Sales Director for North America.
Renard’s appointment comes at a time of international expansion for the business, as the establishment of new facilities in North America opens up significant opportunities to provide in-country support for military customers in the world’s largest market for the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules.
Renard will be responsible for maintaining Marshall Aerospace’s existing relationships with North American fleet operators, while also driving regional expansion through the development of relationships with potential new customers.
An experienced aerospace executive, Renard joins Marshall Aerospace having spent over 40 years in leadership and business development roles for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), government agencies, and commercial operators.
Renard began his aerospace career as a base engineer and later crew leader with Conair Aviation, remotely maintaining specialty aircraft in critical frontline aerial fire control operations and ensuring their 24/7 availability.
In 2001, Renard joined Cascade Aerospace when the business was formed as a spin-out from Conair’s maintenance division. Over the subsequent 20 years, he held a number of senior roles within Cascade, including Engineering Services and Planning Director, Business Development Commercial Programs Director, C-130 International Sales Director, and Business Development Senior Director.
Directly before joining Marshall Aerospace, Renard was Acting VP for International Business Development and Senior Director of Business Development (USA & Europe) for the IMP Group, Cascade’s parent company.

Later this week, Marshall Aerospace will break ground on its new aircraft maintenance and engineering facility in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Located at Piedmont Triad International Airport in the heart of a well-established aerospace cluster, the new facility will initially comprise six bays for aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul and one additional paint bay. The start of operations is planned for early 2025.
