Marshall Honoured with Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade

Marshall Aerospace has received its Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade from HM Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Mrs Julie Spence OBE, QPM at special ceremony at its site in Cambridge.

Marshall Aerospace Managing Director Duncan Eldridge explains:

“We are naturally very honoured to receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise recognising the phenomenal growth of our export business over recent years. Whilst we were notified of the award last year, Covid-19 has meant we have had to wait a little while before a proper celebration could take place.

“We are, therefore, particularly delighted that the Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, along with The High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, Mrs Caroline Bewes DL, were able to visit us in person today to make the formal award and to meet some of the people behind this fantastic achievement.

“The award really is testament to the work that the team is doing to ensure we continue to win new international business and cement our reputation as the Lockheed Martin approved C-130 Heavy Maintenance Centre.”

This is the third time in eight years that Marshall has been a recipient of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise having been previously recognised for International Trade in 2013 and Innovation in 2016.
