Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group achieves Order of Distinction for health and safety

Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group has achieved an Order of Distinction after winning 17 consecutive Golds in the internationally-renowned RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Health and Safety Awards.

The company won the award, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK, in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff get home safely at the end of the working day.

The RoSPA Awards scheme receives nearly 2000 entries a year from organisations around the world and recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Head of Safety at Marshall, Alex Spinks, said:

“We are proud to have received this prestigious award, which is testament to the work our teams do in ensuring the safety of everyone on our site, whatever their role.

“Safety is everyone’s responsibility and something we take very seriously. The safety and wellbeing of our people, our visitors and customers is always a priority.”

Marshall will be presented with the award during a ceremony in London in June.
